Challenge
When a project to upgrade the Air-conditioning at a major UK news studio was awarded, All Seasons Hire was chosen as the preferred supplier of temporary cooling equipment. Our technical team worked closely over several months with both the consultant and the chosen HVAC contractor to devise a system that would allow the studios to operate normally with no disruption to the News Room during the works and with a seamless swap from the old system to the new.
All Seasons Hire designed and installed a full turn-key solution utilising a 750kW packaged chiller. The unit was lifted onto the roof in central London, installed and commissioned during weekend evenings to avoid any disruption. This provided cooling to the building for nine months until the fixed solution was in place.
